La iglesia de San Espiridón de Trimitunte

La iglesia de San Espiridón de Trimitunte

Saint Spyridon of Trimythous, a bishop of the early Church in Cyprus, remains one of the most widely honoured figures of Orthodox devotion, invoked far beyond the Mediterranean. This programme follows a Russian church placed under his patronage, filmed in 4K. The approach is architectural and observational: the massing of the building in its setting, the treatment of walls and roofline, the entrance sequence, then the interior where icons, lamps and painted surfaces organise the space around the liturgy. The film gives room to texture and light rather than commentary, letting the viewer register the scale of the nave, the ordering of the icon screen and the presence of worshippers. A self-contained portrait for sacred-sites collections, easily programmed alongside other Orthodox heritage titles.
