그라다라성과 중세 마을

그라다라성과 중세 마을

Few Italian castles combine military logic and literary myth as tightly as Gradara. Set on a hill within sight of the Adriatic, it presents a compact keep enclosed by a fortified courtyard, itself wrapped in a second ring of walls that also protects the small town below. The film follows that concentric structure: battlements and walkways, gates and drawbridge, then the residential rooms where a fortress becomes a household. Contested between the Malatesta and their rivals, Gradara changed hands as the balance of power shifted across the region, and its architecture registers each phase of adaptation. Popular tradition places here the tragedy of Paolo and Francesca, a story Dante fixed forever in the Divine Comedy and that later painters and composers returned to again and again. Restoration in the modern era gave the site its present silhouette. Aerial and interior photography in 4K make it a natural fit for heritage and history strands.
