海法巴哈伊花园

海法巴哈伊花园

Seen from the bay, the Bahá'í Gardens read as a single vertical axis drawn straight up the flank of Mount Carmel: nineteen terraces of clipped hedges, stairways, fountains and gravel parterres, rising and descending from the Shrine of the Báb with its gilded dome at the centre. The composition is symmetrical, geometrically strict and maintained to a standard closer to precision engineering than to ordinary horticulture — a permanent team keeps every hedge line, every path and every water channel to specification. The gardens surround the spiritual and administrative heart of the Bahá'í faith, whose world centre is established in Haifa, and they are inscribed on the World Heritage list together with other Bahá'í holy places in the region. For the visitor, the experience is one of continuous descent through framed views: the city below, the bay, the port, the sea. Filmed in 4K, and particularly from the air, the site is among the most graphically powerful in the whole catalogue — pure axial geometry, saturated colour, and a golden dome that anchors every frame.
