Royal Park Rajapruek, also known as Royal Flora Chiang Mai, showcases an orchid garden, a royal pavilion and gardens representing various countries. The park further features an insect museum, a children's environmental park and a large amphitheatre, making it a vibrant celebration of botanical and cultural heritage. It was created for the international horticultural exposition held here in the winter of 2006 in honour of King Bhumibol Adulyadej, and its centrepiece, the Ho Kham Royal Pavilion, is a gilded Lanna-style hall raised on a broad axis of formal beds and water channels. This documentary surveys the grounds season by season, from the international pavilions to the orchid houses and the mountain horizon beyond.
